Our road trip to Idaho felt epic to us. It took four days, making a few big stops. Day one we made a small detour to this big bridge in West Virginia.
Day two took us to Nauvoo! With just half a day there, we were still able to see lots of the sights...
like the Scovil Bakery (where Grandma H. used to work on her mission)
and the temple, of course,
and before the pageant started that night, we played some good old pioneer games. The pageant itself was unbelievably well-done. We were impressed and touched, and will never forget it.
For our last day on the road, we surprised the kids with some very exciting news!
