The story of Audrey's 1st day of Kindergarten today can be summed up in these two pictures:

Jake took the job of prepping Audrey for school very seriously.
Last night as they rode scooters up and down the sidewalk together, he told her "everything" she could ever possibly want to know about kindergarten. We stepped outside just in time to see her doing pushups on the sidewalk while he coached her on the proper form (you can never be too prepared for P.E. apparently).
He wanted to make her a special breakfast for her first day, so he set his alarm early and hurried down to the kitchen to fix her a scrambled egg taco, shredded lettuce included.
Big brothers are the best!
And so it begins.

Wow, the first day of "real" school is such a milestone! Hard to believe, but I'm glad Audrey had an awesome, awesome time.
How could she not with a stud big bro like Jake? I LOVE the egg taco gesture. So, so sweet.
