Just a heads up: I've posted a list on my sidebar of Christmas picture books we're reading. I found all of them at the library using the online request tool--best. thing. ever.
The one book I didn't list (because there wasn't an image on the Library Thing) happens to be my favorite of the bunch, and one that I want to buy for keeps. It's this one pictured above, Christmas is Here, published just this year. The illustrations are soft and warm and the short text comes entirely from the Bible. Love it. And a recommendation for those out of the picture-book stage: Chapters 7, 8, and 9 of Jesus the Christ by James Talmage.
