We had some wild and crazy fun at Jacob's Backwards Party yesterday. Upside-down cupcakes, Seek and Hide, and Pin the Donkey on the Tail were the order of the day.

Side Note: since pictures can't convey the sounds of the scene, you'll have to imagine hearing these among the din...
- shattering glass and Skittles scattering across the kitchen floor (Aud-rey)
- Latin tunes for the party-effect
- "This is the worst birthday party ever" and accompanying angst from Jacob, then just the opposite 10 minutes later
- the kids all singing "You to Birthday Happy" to a smiling 6-year old

Good to see you in the blog world. Your family is so cute. I'm very impressed with the birthday party.
That is the cutest idea. We might have to steal that one sometime!
