Our friends treated us to a beautiful dinner on Christmas Eve, followed by cookie-making for Santa.

We were a little late getting back home, so our Nativity was short and simple.

Opening their pajamas hyped them up just in time for bed.

I sneaked a picture of the Jolly Old Elf's workmanship. He was very good to us.

We spent most of the day playing with our new treasures..... play-dough, dolls, pirate ship, science kit, Spiderman laptop, Little People, crayons. What fun!

We missed being with family this year, but still had a most happy day together. Now we're eating up this time with Jeremy home from work and Jacob home from school. Audrey has become her Daddy's little shadow ("Daddy" is her favorite word--she says it at least 500 times a day. She'll be crushed when he deserts her next week). And Jake is thrilled to have someone other than me around, too. Hooray for Christmas Break!
