This Boy Loves

to play in a nearby creek with the neighbor boys.

It is his ultimate fun place. He came home yesterday from the creek telling me about the crawdad they found that was "this big" (showing me a generous 12 inches with his hands).

It's not unusual for him to get a tad muddy there--no big deal. But today he came home completely covered, head to toe. He opened the door with a huge grin explaining, "Mud War is so popular down there!"

After he took everything off in the garage, leaving me a nice heap, I just had to capture his mud-face.

This mom loves this boy.
