Here's a peek at our time together.
We made a flannel quilt for Audrey's bed--
a perfect, very forgiving learning project for me.
He made us a much-needed workbench for the garage,
and an adorable doll-house-style book case for Audrey's room (pictures to come).
They hadn't seen the kids in well over a year, so it was a thrill to have them here. We loved every minute.

fun! doing what they do best, i love it. ;) i love grandma's quilts and i love grandpa's woodwork. :) it looks like you had an awesome time!
what a wonderful time! gram and gramps were doing what they do best--sewing and building. it must have been a very sweet time together after a year of not getting together. love all the sunny pics. can't wait to see your quilt for audrey and the house that gramps built...
too bad about the gold panning. come up here to alaska...i'm sure your odds would be a lot better! *wink*
